The first time I designed my own web page I fell in love
with the field. I didn’t know what I was going to do with my life. I wasn’t
living life, I just existed. I never thought about web design until I attended
Kansas City Kansas Community College where I use to live, back in the year
2000. I took a class on web design as an elective. I enjoyed it so much that I
decided that I wanted to do that for the rest of my life. I have tried to
pursue web design at other schools thereafter, but never really got a chance to
finish. I searched for the right program for years until I discovered The Art
Institute which is located in Las Vegas where I now reside. I eat, sleep and
breathe web design.
To me, web design isn't a fad or just a job, it is my life.
I have done different things, tried other majors and even looked into law but
nothing appealed to me more than web design. Attending the Art Institute has
made me not only a professional but innovative, inspirational, pulling out the
web design aspects as well as the creative side in me. Designing isn't easy, but
nothing in life is easy.
In the business of web design it isn’t about yourself, it is
about what the client wants, if you don’t give them what they want, you won’t
last long in this field. I consider myself an expert with a passion for helping
people and this is one of the reasons why I do what I do. It brings life to my
soul to share a piece of myself in the work I produce. Web design to me is
exhilarating, fulfilling and exciting. I am a perfectionist and won’t stop
until I know the work is done right.
